TASTE THE MUNDO

We’re redefining coffee culture. Taste the Mundo is about reclaiming the narrative — showcasing Black, Brown, and Indigenous contributions to one of the world’s most consumed beverages. Our beans are a portal to tradition, excellence, and the real story behind your morning cup.

OUR STORY

Given that coffee is historically grown by Black, Brown, and Indigenous people, there’s an element of reclamation in every bag we sell. Founder Jonathan Kinnard established Coffee Del Mundo in South L.A. to center these voices, educate on coffee’s true roots, and restore cultural awareness.
“We want you to be very aware that coffee is not a European thing. It’s an Ethiopian thing. It’s a Colombian thing. It’s a Guatemalan thing. We take a lot of pride in that, and we need to honor that if you understand the difficulty of labor that goes into these things.” – Jonathan Kinnard

IN THE MEDIA

From spotlight features to industry accolades, our journey has been recognized by top publications. Explore what they’re saying about our mission to take you on a coffee adventure like no other.
